This page is dedicated to beloved Kathryn Kuhlman, whom I believe was one of the greatest faith healers of our time. I was personally involved with the Kathryn Kuhlman Minisrty when I was in my teens back in the late 1950's. I was one of the Kathryn Kuhlman Young People. We met every Saturday at an old mansion off South Carson Street in South Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I don't recall the name of the mansion, but I can still see the inside. We met in a large room in the basement and I can remember it did have a musty smell when you first entered, but the cookies and juice after would make up for it. Two young ladies who I believe were in their mid-twenties then, June and Jill, led the "Praise and Worship", and I remember my favorite hymn then was "In The Garden". I think June and Jill were sisters, maybe even twins, but I'm not sure. My mother would take my brother and me to Mrs. Sadler's in Port Vue (McKeesport) and she would take us to the meeting and bring us back. Then my mother would pick us up and take us back home to Buena Vista in Elizabeth Township. Those were good, clean fun times that I dearly miss.

I also believe the hymn you are listening to if you have your volume turned up, "Alleluia" was the hymn she used to make her entry on the great stage.

I recall my mother going to one of Miss Kuhlman's services at the Carnegie Music Hall in Pittsburgh and came home elated because she was able to hear out of one ear that had been deaf for many years.
